Die slapstickreifen Streitereien zwischen Gunnar Peterson und seinem Manager Maltorb sorgen immer wieder für Erheiterung im Fahrerlager. "Der Typ raubt mir den letzten Nerv", kommentierte der Jungmanager nach dem Ende der Russian Series die Auftritte seines Fahrers. "Seit er mal bei einem Formel3-Rennen in Pau irgendsoeinen Poullette oder Poucette hinter sich gelassen hat, hält er sich für den Allergrößten. Dabei fährt er sich einen kompletten Blödsinn zusammen und crasht in einem Rennen nach dem anderen", redete sich Maltorb bei einer Pressekonferenz in Rage. "Selbst in der Rookie-Tabelle ist er inzwischen auf Platz 16 zurückgefallen - das bringt doch meine ganze Budget-Planung durcheinander. Keine Kondition, aber große Klappe - das werden wir ändern! Zur Strafe habe ich ihn erstmal in die Pampa geschickt und bei der Copa Sudamericana angemeldet. Auf den holprigen Straßenkursen kann er sich die Hörner abstoßen..."

Brazil entered F1 with a team in season 39, we took the team with the worst F1 record of all time in MrC.
And so the story of Lotus began. Since then there have been many challenges and the team has shown growth, at first it took a few seasons to learn how this F1 business worked. Afterwards, little by little the team evolved and grew.
